My Memories of the Tom and Callie Black Farm

My first visit to Northeast Georgia was before my first birthday. My last, until this year (2002), was before my seventh birthday. In my lifetime I have spent less than 60 days in Northeast Georgia and most of those were before I was two years old but for me this part of the world has always remained a land of enchantment with wonderful memories and full of the things of which my dreams are made. Please take the time to share my 2002 visit and my memories with me.

The Black Farmhouse

This is a 1969 picture of the house that was built by Tom Black and his sons sometime before 1925 to replace the log cabin that they first built. In 1990 the house was burned to the ground.

The farm is now owned by Papa Coon Adams
